Okay, I couldn't actually find the file (I think it's lost...), so this will have to do.

My favorite author happens to be a uber good Fanfiction writer, known as Lionchilde on Fanfiction.net. She's really good. Probably after that is Rowling, then Tolkien, then Paolini.
