What book are you reading right now?
Right now, I just finished Sherlock Holmes: The Hound of the Baskervilles, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Today I started reading Peter and the Secret of Rundoon, by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. It's the third and final book in the Starcatchers(?) Trilogy. Books one and two are Peter and the Starcatchers and Peter and the Shadow Thieves respectively.

I just finished Psycho by Robert Bloch, and now I'm reading a terribly boring 'The Diary of Anne Frank' for school.

1984? I heard about that... it sounded kind of interesting. How was it?

It was the best book I've read all quarter. Like pretty much every other book on the future, it's not too bright. But it was a facinating read because of how close it really is. I mean, it's really, really close. It's kinda scary just how close it is to our current time period and the way things are. Everybody else must have thought so, too, because 1984 has had a big impact on our culture. Orwell coined the term 'Big Brother' in that book, so when you hear people talking bout BB, that's where it came from. [/boring, random, useless facts]
Definitely read it. Even if you hate it, at least you'll have picked up another piece of modern culture.

Re: What book are you reading right now?
I don't like big brother, if its the TV show that is, who wants to sit around for an hour or two and watch people pretend to do stuff so they can win a prize. It's quite pathetic. Anyway, this 1984 sounds interesting, I will eventually read it but as I don't have or get any money at all I'm more or less stuck with reading free things off of the internet. But hey reading is reading and I spend most of my day reading soemthing at least, normally I go on wikipedia and type in the first thing that comes into my head and read about it.
I've just finished reading Of mice and men and I found it to be quite dismal. Not the fact that its a bad boo kbut because we are made to study it in so much detail that I want to shoot myself. Books are for enjoyment not for pain. You cannot forget the ripples! The scary ripples that signify that something bad is going to happen. I'm glad I've at last finished it I can now get on with my life and hopefully never anaylse another book in so much detail again. At the moment I'm attempting to read "Fire in the mist" by Holly Lisle, a free book on her website that looks quite cool. I'm only onto the first chapter though xD I've got so much to do during the day there is little time to read as leisure.

Right now, I'm reading Labyrinth of Evil by James Luceno. It's an EU Star Wars book, prequel to Revenge of the Sith.
