Read! (books)
Many writers fail to realise that to get better, they must take in the work of others and learn from their ups and downs. As mine is high fantasy, I love to read LotR and historical fiction (strange combination
)
What do you enjoy reading? This will usually shine out in your work.

Re: Read! (books)
Fantasy and Sci-fi, mostly... I've read some good historical fiction... I don't really read any romance... some action/adventure, I guess. A little bit of horror. But yeah, mostly Fantasy and Sci-fi. (Don't ask me for names of books or series--at least, not all of them--there are too many.)
I'll post a list of my favorite books/series here sometime.

Re: Read! (books)
Well, with my limited time I don't get to read many books. Most of my time is consumed with reading facts and information on my websites but when I get the chance I read LOTR, maybe Harry Potter or what ever I can get my hands on at that time. I sometimes get frustrated when there is nothing around to read, so I try to read what ever I can, even... embarrisingly enough, deoderant cans, food labels and anything hand held that bares any form of readable words.
