What is your opinion on the war in Iraq?

I don't really like it, but I don't think that we have much of a choice. If we try to stop, they'll keep terrorizing, which doesn't help us much. That or we surrender, and the only way they would accept (they said) is if America becomes a Muslim country. I would rather fight the war than that.

Totally agreed. And everybody knows that America doesn't surrender easily.

Anyway off topic.... I like the war but I also don't like it. The idea of protecting our land is great, but look how many people have died trying to do that; it just doesn't seem to be worth it that much.

People always say it's so horrible how many people we've lost to this war. And it is, I agree. I empathize with people who've lost loved ones. But if you look at the statistics of World War II, we lost 3,000 people a DAY! But nobody had any qualms about us fighting in that war. And Hitler didn't even directly threaten us! Bin Laden did!

Yes.... but Hitler didn't run away from us either. And yes people hated fighting that war; not to mention we couldn't let hitler destroy an entire race/religon of people! It wasn't right!

So we can't let someone destroy a culture that is foreign to us, but we can let them destroy our own culture? That doesn't match up....

America has so many different cultures that it couldn't be destroyed, besides it's not like we didn't/don't have any jews here! Bin Ladin isnt' even close to destroying our entire country so far he's only attacked with words (not counting 9/11).

Not counting 9/11?! Are you kidding me? Only attacked with words? Please! America isn't the only place that the terrorists have attacked. They are against the white and american culture as a whole!

Once again, america has many different cultures. No I don't kid Mel; not about this. Bin Ladin is a coward. He's run away from us at every turn, and you think I don't know that they've attacked other places? Well I do. I must admit Bin Ladin should have been caught years ago, but the coward has managed to evade us. Any good millitary leader would have stood his ground instead of running from deserved death!
