What book are you reading right now?

Right now, I just finished Sherlock Holmes: The Hound of the Baskervilles, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Today I started reading Peter and the Secret of Rundoon, by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. It's the third and final book in the Starcatchers(?) Trilogy. Books one and two are Peter and the Starcatchers and Peter and the Shadow Thieves respectively.

I just finished reading 1984 by George Orwell, and am currently reading The Art of Protest by Reed.

I just finished Psycho by Robert Bloch, and now I'm reading a terribly boring 'The Diary of Anne Frank' for school.

It was the best book I've read all quarter. Like pretty much every other book on the future, it's not too bright. But it was a facinating read because of how close it really is. I mean, it's really, really close. It's kinda scary just how close it is to our current time period and the way things are. Everybody else must have thought so, too, because 1984 has had a big impact on our culture. Orwell coined the term 'Big Brother' in that book, so when you hear people talking bout BB, that's where it came from. [/boring, random, useless facts]

Definitely read it. Even if you hate it, at least you'll have picked up another piece of modern culture.

Right now, I'm reading Labyrinth of Evil by James Luceno. It's an EU Star Wars book, prequel to Revenge of the Sith.

I'm homeschooled, so I do have time....

I'm reading It's Kind Of A Funny Story by Ned Vizzinni. It's not just funny... it's hilarious! and I'm reading like 4 other books. I just don't feel like typing the names. I'll probably finish reading them all tonight too...
