Ali Kora

I'm hoping this works...
This is my original character from my Star Wars fanfic. Her name is Ali Kora and yes she has wings, thats one of her flaws. She also falls in love with Garen Muln... oooo... X3
She is part Volfarian (father's side (also a spieces I made up)) and part Angel (mother's side)...

So I'm guessing that Ali just doesn't get much love... that's okay...

Please don't bump threads... (needlessly post in them). I know that there aren't many posts, but it gets annoying if you try to draw attention to it by posting.

Let's see, your wings are pretty good... better than I can do. Your cliff was nice. From what I see, you did a good job on the background... except for the little forest in the bottom left. (That is what it is, right???)

On your char, the hands are very well drawn... the arms are okay... not that great. Hair and legs are all good...

Honestly, the only thing I don't like is the tail. It's kind of unrealistic and boring, just a bunch of lines waving over.

I'll rate it:

Background: 9/10
Character: 7/10
Overall: 8/10

I would imagine that since she's the main part of the picture, you want your character to look good. Background's important, but you don't want people to focus only on that. Work on the tail, and it could be a lot better.

Now I have to wonder what her face looks like... you should draw and post a pic from the front.

Anyways, thanks for the crit! I can't really do people, animals, pictures in gereral... so I usually just stick to photography...

I'm glad you like her (some-what) and just saying right now, I'm never gonna draw one of my characters from the front. My artist, Nami or Eto or Chels, might, but I can't draw faces...

Sorry I didn't look at this earlier, Beatle! I've already seen it, but I will crit it anway.

Love the cliff! Very good texture. I don't think there's enough texture on the mountains. I like the sort of Aboriginal (sp?) design on her skirt. I agree with Jamon, the tail just takes away from the pic.

If you want, I will help you draw fronts of characters. Just give me really detailed descriptions, and I will try my hardest...

Anyways... I should mention that this was just a quick sketch done while my brother was practicing baseball... meh, it took me about 30 to 45 minutes.
